These people perform modern day left. Do all kinds of work to you vehicle or claim they do and inflate the bill way higher than the estimate they give you, then hold your car ransom. They prey on the elderly like my father who went in for approximately $300 worth of work on a $1300 mini van he was about to sell and goes to pick it up and it was $1,000. They would not give car back. We had to call police. Police chief very familiar with them. Police have been called on them numerous times. They are major meth users and had to abandon a business in Lone Grove. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF....DO NOT GO HERE! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE. AC didn't even work after van was taken off lot!!!

My truck has been sitting in my driveway for 6 months because the transmission went out. I heard about Advanced Transmission's specials for November and December, and decided to try them out (They were $500 less than their competition). I got my truck back today! I am so happy!! The service was great, and they even let me come in and see them while they were working on it!

We towed our Ford Taurus in for a rebuilt transmission. We were quoted $1250.00 to install a rebuilt and were told they would not put one in if it didn't need it. Two weeks later we were charged $1000.00 for a torque converter and seals. We were told to purchase and install a neutral safety switch. We did. The car was shifting hard into 2nd when we drove off the lot and continued to pull and shift hard into 2nd after we installed the neutral safety switch. We took the car back and were told that it may need a new transmission. When we questioned why we didn't receive a new transmission in the first place; we were told that it may just be a piece of metal shaving clogging the valve. They drove the car for 50 miles and informed us it was just a metal shaving that would work itself out after 500-1000 miles. Meanwhile, we spoke with a mechanic at the Ford Dealership who told us there was no way to know what size of metal may be clogging the valve or if that was even the problem without pulling the transmission again. When we tried to argue this fact with Advanced Transmission, we were told to get out and not come back. We contacted another transmission mechanic and explained the situation without mentioning the company name. He asked if we were talking about Advanced Transmission and said that he had several customers come to him with the same complaint... that, unfortunately, we would never get our money back or receive any warranty work from them. Because we just dropped a grand on this repair and could not afford to take it somewhere else, we decided to drive the car (hoping the metal shaving would "work itself out"). 400 miles later, the car not only shifts hard into 2nd but no longer shifts into 3rd. We had to tow our car to another repairman and drop another grand to get the rebuilt we thought we were getting in the first place. This company will promise to fix your transmission, overcharge you for a partial repair that you may or may not have needed, and then try to charge you again for a rebuilt that you thought you were getting in the first place! As if that's not enough, their warranty states that if you disrespect them, the warranty is null and void. So don't shake your head in disagreement or otherwise try to argue with them in anyway or you will be thrown out. This has been my experience. Form your own opinions. For your sake, I hope you don't get ripped off if you choose to use them! (If I could rate a zero, or a negative, I would!)
