Use All Seasons Travel at your own risk! I recently booked a cruise to the Bahamas for my daughter and a friend as a college graduation gift. My husband and I don’t travel so I decided it was best if I, an inexperienced traveler, booked through a professional travel agent. I recall saying to my daughter when she got home with the itinerary, “Wow! Your flight schedule (the morning of the cruise) sure is tight. You’re going to have to hook it to catch your adjoining flight.” They were scheduled to arrive in Atlanta from DFW at 8:55 A.M. and the departure of the adjoining flight from Atlanta to Melbourne, FL and their cruise was set to depart at 9:50 A.M. I started to call and question the scheduling, but decided that the travel agent must know what she’s doing. She does this all the time, right? BIG MISTAKE!!! Long story short, there was a 30 minute delay at DFW and they missed their adjoining flight which in turn caused them to miss their entire cruise. Not only that, in all the craziness her luggage was lost. I immediately called my travel agent and left a message about what had happened. She didn’t return my call. The next day I called the owner and was told that I was pretty much out of luck. I asked if there was anything she could do for them there in Florida. They are now stuck in Florida from Sunday at 3:15 P.M., time they finally made it to Florida, until their flight out Friday, 8:50 P.M. with only the money they took for souvenirs and excursions. Plus had to stop at Target first thing and buy clothes etc. since she had no luggage. We were told no that they couldn’t afford to pay for them to stay in Florida. Finally, after my husband threw a fit, the owner said (with attitude) that she could pay for one night in Florida or fly them home early, but it would be coming out of her own personal pocket. This has been a tearful, gut-wrenching experience. My advice…book it YOURSELF!
